Dosing Pump Bays
Peristaltic heads, tubing sets and replacement rollers for two, three and four channel dosers. Each bay is bench tested against a graduated cylinder so the delivered dose matches the label before the housing ever leaves the shelf.
Dose · Test · Keep
Coyon AquaTech Limited is a specialist supplier of reef hardware, working from the Kwun Tong quarter of Hong Kong at 12/F Elite Centre, 22 Hung To Rd, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK). We stock the small, decisive parts that turn a glass box into a stable habitat: peristaltic dosing heads, reagent test kits, controller boards and probe spares. Every shipment leaves our bench inspected, labelled and logged, and you can review the full service range → before you order.

Peristaltic heads, tubing sets and replacement rollers for two, three and four channel dosers. Each bay is bench tested against a graduated cylinder so the delivered dose matches the label before the housing ever leaves the shelf.
Alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate and phosphate reagents in refill and full kit form. We rotate stock on a fixed calendar so the expiry window on a shipped kit is as wide as the manufacturer allows.
Boards, power supplies, relay modules and display panels for aquarium controllers. A part desk order is matched against the exact model family, because a controller family can change connector pinouts between revisions.
A reference service where we walk a keeper through target ranges for salinity, alkalinity and nutrient levels, then map those targets onto the dosing schedule the hardware supports. It is advice, not a prescription.
A structured look at pH, salinity and ORP probes, including reference solution choices and a simple drift log the keeper can maintain. Where a probe has failed, we supply the replacement and the correct storage cap.
A scheduled review of what a bench actually consumes over a quarter, converted into a single restock list with lead times attached. The sitting is designed for small shops, service technicians and serious home keepers alike.
Coyon AquaTech Limited opens its restock window each week for benches that need a fresh run of dosing tubing, reagent kits and controller spares.
How the bench works
Most reef hardware is sold as if it were a catalogue item with no second life. In practice a dosing head is a mechanical device with rollers that flatten, tubing that ages and motors that slowly drift out of calibration. A test kit is a bottle of reagent with a shelf life measured in months. A controller board is a small computer sitting above salt water, and salt water eventually finds every board. We built Coyon AquaTech Limited around that reality, and we organise the business into six services that each address one part of the hardware life cycle rather than one part of a product list.
Our stock lives at 12/F Elite Centre, 22 Hung To Rd, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK). The Kwun Tong quarter has long been a working industrial district, and the building suits us: a goods lift that can take a pallet, a loading area that is not shared with a shopping arcade, and enough floor space to keep a bench where a pump can be run against a measuring cylinder before it is packed. We are not a showroom and we do not pretend to be one. The bench is there so that a shipment leaves with a known behaviour, not just a known part number.
Buyers come to us from three directions. Some are small aquarium shops that cannot hold depth in every line and want a reliable partner for reef consumables. Some are service technicians who maintain installations in offices, clinics and homes and need a spares source that answers quickly. Some are serious hobbyists who run a large system at home and have learned that a failed dosing channel is a chemistry problem waiting to happen. All three groups need the same thing: a supplier who understands what the part does in the tank, not only what it costs on a purchase order.
The parts that matter
The reef hardware market moves quickly and quietly. A pump model that was standard two years ago may now be discontinued, with the replacement using a different tube size or a different motor voltage. A probe that shipped with a bayonet connector may now ship with a push fit. A controller that accepted a particular relay board may have moved to a newer bus. None of this is announced loudly, and a keeper who orders by habit rather than by part number can spend a weekend debugging a problem that is really a compatibility mismatch. We keep a running record of these changes and we ask buyers to confirm the model family before we pick from the shelf.
Consumables deserve particular attention because they are the part of the hobby that quietly determines success. Dosing tubing is inexpensive and should be replaced on a schedule rather than when it finally splits. Reagent bottles should be stored away from heat and direct light, and a bottle that has changed colour at the edges should be retired even if the date looks acceptable. Probe storage solution is not a luxury; a pH probe left dry will drift and eventually fail, and the cost of a bottle of storage solution is trivial next to the cost of a replacement probe. We say all of this plainly because a supplier who only sells parts and never explains their use is doing half a job.
For shops and service technicians, the practical difficulty is often storage and rotation rather than knowledge. A small shop cannot keep every reagent in date, and a technician who visits forty tanks a month needs a kit bag that is always ready. Our restock order sittings are built for exactly this situation. We look at consumption over a quarter, agree a minimum shelf quantity for each line, and set a rotation order so that the oldest stock is used first. The result is fewer emergency orders and fewer expired bottles quietly going out on a service visit.
Location matters more than it might appear. Goods that cross water, sit in a warm container and then travel again can arrive with tubing that has taken a set or packaging that has softened. Shipping from our own bench at 12/F Elite Centre means a shorter final leg for buyers in the region, and it means we can inspect a parcel at the point of dispatch instead of discovering a problem after a distributor has already moved it on. That is a modest advantage, but in a hobby where two days of delay can matter, modest advantages add up.
Common questions
Do you sell to home keepers as well as to shops? Yes. The restock order sittings were designed with small shops and technicians in mind, but a serious home keeper running a large system is welcome to book one. The only requirement is a reasonably clear picture of what the bench uses over time.
Can you match a discontinued part? Often we can, provided the buyer can share a photograph of the original and any markings on the housing. Where a direct replacement no longer exists we will explain what changed and what adaptation would be needed rather than selling a part that will not fit.
How do I know a test kit is fresh? Every kit we ship carries its manufacture and expiry information on the outer box, and we do not remove or obscure it. If a kit arrives with a short remaining window we will say so before dispatch, not after.
Dose, test, keep
Dosing is the first verb because it is the most mechanical. A peristaltic pump draws a liquid through a flexible tube and squeezes it forward with rollers, and that description hides a great deal of practical detail. Tube material matters, because silicone and Norprene behave differently under continuous compression. Roller count matters, because more rollers mean a smoother delivery and less pulsation. Motor gearing matters, because a pump that is accurate at high flow may be poor at the very low volumes a small tank needs. Our dosing pump bays exist to keep all of those variables visible to the buyer.
Testing is the second verb and the one most often neglected. A keeper who doses without testing is steering with a blindfold, and a test kit with expired reagent is worse than no kit at all because it produces a confident wrong number. We treat reagent dates as a first-class concern and we structure test kit runs around rotation rather than around whatever happens to be at the back of the shelf. Where a kit uses a comparator card, we check that the card is included and undamaged, since a faded card quietly shifts every reading a keeper takes.
Keeping is the third verb, and it is the one that covers the long middle of ownership. Probes drift. Controllers lose a firmware setting after a power cut. A dosing line develops a slow air leak that is invisible until alkalinity tumbles. The services we group under controller part desks, water parameter windows and probe calibration reviews are all attempts to shorten the distance between a symptom a keeper notices and the component that actually causes it. Restock order sittings close the loop by turning what a bench consumes into a plan instead of a series of emergencies.
None of this is glamorous work, and we are content with that. The reef hobby rewards patience and accurate information more than it rewards novelty. A supplier who answers a question about roller wear honestly, and who ships the right storage cap with a pH probe, does more for a tank than a supplier who promises a revolution in a box. If that sounds like the kind of partner you want for a bench in Hong Kong or anywhere we can ship to, the contact page is the shortest route to a real person.
Working with us
A first order usually begins with a short description of the system: tank volume, the dosing schedule already in use, the controller family, and the probes currently installed. From that we can suggest a starting basket rather than a blank catalogue page. If a buyer already knows exactly which part number they need, we will confirm compatibility and ship it; we will not invent a consultation where a simple answer would do. The same principle applies to shipping. We quote lead times based on real stock positions, and when a part is not with us we say so and give an honest estimate instead of a cheerful guess.
Invoices, packing slips and product labels all carry the same company identity: Coyon AquaTech Limited, 12/F Elite Centre, 22 Hung To Rd, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK). If a parcel arrives with a problem, the fastest route is an email to request@cccomponents.lol with the order reference and a photograph, and we will work through it from there. The phone line at +16069344807 is answered during the hours listed on the contact page for buyers who prefer to speak.
